GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACT FOR OPEN PAPER AND POSTER PRESENTATION
ABSTRACT FORMAT
• Contain no more than 250 words
• Single-spaced in 11 point, Arial
• Must be free of typographical and grammatical errors
TITLE It should be brief and state clearly the nature of the presentation.
AUTHORS’ NAMES
Authors should be listed by surname and initials, with the presenting author’s name marked with an asterisk (*).
DESIGNATION & ORGANIZATION NAME
Immediately following the authors’ names
Organization/Institute, department, city, state, country of author.
CONTENT OF ABSTRACT
Use the following headings:
• Objective
• Content
• Outcome
• Conclusions & summary
• References (maximum of two)
ABBREVIATIONS
Standard abbreviations may be used for common terms only. For uncommon terms, the abbreviations should be given in brackets after the first full use of the word.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
The abstract submission must state clearly if the submission is for Open Paper or Poster Presentation.
Abstracts must be submitted through email to meelan@tll.org.sg as Microsoft Word attachment.
*Note to All Presenters
• Selected abstracts will ONLY be accepted upon receipt of registration and payment for the conference fee.
• The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend or change any part of the submission guidelines without prior notice.
PAPER PRESENTATIONS
Presentations will be no more than 15 minutes including 2 minutes for discussion.
POSTER PRESENTATION
REQUIREMENTS • Prepare and bring with you to the conference all components of your poster. • The poster must include a heading panel as shown in the diagram below. • Velcro tape will be available for mounting your poster on the display panel.

Information for Poster Submission
1. Poster will be displayed during the conference, after which they should be removed
2. Authors are fully responsible for display and removal of their posters at the respective location. The Organizing
Committee will not be liable for any loss or damage to the posters during the display.
3. Author must be around during poster presentation (Break time).
3. When preparing text and illustrations, bear in mind that the posters will be viewed from a distance of 1 meter.
