| The objective of this course is to provide a comprehensive knowledge on legislation, scientific and technical aspects of Biosafety for the Biosafety professional, as part of the requirements of the Singapore Biological Agents and Toxin Act (BATA) to be a Biosafety Coordinator for certified bio-containment facilities. |
| |
| It combines lectures with practical hands-on sessions as well as open discussions on hot topics. It is envisaged that participants who have completed the course will have an in depth insight and be better equipped with tools and knowledge of integrating Biosafety into their respective organizations, from the management perspective to functional and operational perspective. |

| This course is designed to train Biosafety Coordinators and Biosafety Officers, however, Researchers, Technical Personnel and anyone interested in Biosafety are also welcomed. |

| The course curriculum is intended to provide a basic understanding and skills needed for the operation and maintenance of a high containment laboratory (Level 3). Understanding the applied biosafety and high containment design is the foundation upon which the courses build to give practical insights into maintenance and operations of a high containment laboratory. Team participation, group exercises and practical hands-on experiences enable the attendees to build skill sets and develop networking opportunities that will be invaluable to themselves and their organizations. |

| This course is designed for the Facilities Managers, Biosafety Officers, Maintenance Personnel, Architects and Engineers working with high containment facilties. |

| Due to some group work, space is limited. Registration base on first come first serve basis. |
